Ein Abstecher am Ende des Altweibersommers in den Nordwesten der USA, nach Bellingham (Whatcom County) am Puget-Sund, wo Orcas und Grauwale sich die Flossen geben, im Schatten von Mount Baker, wo die Snowboarder den Gletscher shredden, und es bei 70.ooo Einwohnern (davon ca. 20.000 Studenten) mit einer zweimonatigen Regenperiode im Frühjahr gar nicht anders sein kann, als dass es eine lebendige, vielseitige Musikszene gibt.
Und die stellt DJ Vollkasko aktuell vor--von Hip Hop über Deep Funk zu Reggae, von Northwestern Soul zu nerdigem Indie Pop, von Indie Folk zu Indie/Punk/Hard Rock und Hard Soul... Ein Reigen, so bunt wie die Blätter an den Bäumen in den Mount Baker Foothills, so schillernd, wie die Pazifikwogen am Strand von Lummi Island.
